We are pleased to present Subscribers 1.2 Beta - a simple module for sending out Newsletters.

People can subscribe to the mailing list, and the Admin can then create a simple message/newsletter, and send it out to subscribers.

This module is very simple and doesn't have some of the sophisticated features like storing past newsletters, resending past newsletter, but what it does, it does very well

It was originally developed by Trabis for Mowaffaq from http://www.arabxoops.com.

It has now been updated to XOOPS 2.5.x Admin GUI and tested on XOOPS 2.5.5 and PHP 5.3.10

hi Mamba,
I have the same module but more developed upon a client's request, it contains one more field for mobile number, also the possibilty to export all subscribers to cvs list.
I dont have any problem to share it with all xoopsers, I will send it to you by email and you test it.
also I have did a paid work on liaise.

ah by the way I forget to tell you that I have added the unsubscribe feature to subscribers module

Mariane, that's fantastic! I am looking forward to it.

BTW - the "unsubscribe feature" seems to be included in the module already - the recipient receives a link in the email to unsubscribe. Is it something different from what you have?

it could be the same module because the improvements have been made by trabis too. but anyway I sent you by email 3 modules

@Mamba, could you look into something strange, i wanted to deactivate the antispam option in de admin, but somehow i cant seem te shut it down. If i activate antispam for visitors and guests or deactivate it, it keeps saying registry is not possible.

Another problem is the number of tokens to put in, standard you have to put in 6 but the field wont let me put in more then 4???

I can confirm the captcha character problem Ritchie mentioned. The picture shows 6 but the field only shows max 4 characters. Although I can type in 6 characters (just 4 show) registering works.
