Try Repair first maybe, and then optimize.

At least it seems like we could narrow down the issue - possible problems with the Database. You might contact your Host about it.

And let's hope that you have a backup, just in case you need it.

Give error code and screenshot from phpmyadmin (probably some or all tables are locked) - happens after upgrade to MySQL and when disks (on host company) are under pressure (during backup day).

Log in to your HSP CPanel, go to phpmyadmin under Databases tab, select xoops database, select all tables - Analyze (screenshot), Repair (screenshot), Optimize (screenshot).

I did all three steps but nothing :(.
is an impossibility, can not seem to do anything in the site ... :/ but something is wrong with this version xoops: (
