I have updated xim trunk + version 1.02 in svn
download update here

- Some problems with heartbeat being broken in IE and some cases FF due to createFooterBar was being fired after heartbeat in chat.js. Especially when chats are iconized.
- Admin section blank fix

Looks like it is running ok in both FF, IE, Chrome and Opera

IE9 has problems with toggle friendslist this is due to a wierd IE bug. Fix it by removing IE addon DivX player ..Dont ask me why ?!?

Culex? I'm still getting a blank admin screen after the last update to the module.(1.02)

Here are the xoops specs:
XOOPS Version XOOPS 2.4.5
PHP Version 5.2.17
mySQL Version 5.1.56
Server API cgi-fcgi
OS Linux
safe_mode Off
register_globals Off
magic_quotes_gpc Off
allow_url_fopen Off
fsockopen On
post_max_size 64M
max_input_time 60
output_buffering
max_execution_time 30
memory_limit 96M
file_uploads On
upload_max_filesize 64M

And for registered, but not admin users, the page format still is getting wrecked. Tested in Chrome, FF, and Opera.

*edit*
I need to add that I also cleared out the cache files before the install, and did a module update immediately after installing.
The more I know, the more I know that I really didn't wanna know.

Ok thats no good.. :-S

I have just tested with a fresh install of 2.4.5 and with me it runs ok, however..

I did notice a small jquery bug in the 245 admin section
$(document.ready() is not a function...But even then it started up the admin.

I dont know if this could help but try to update system-module.

Also I noticed that both module + block permission needs to be set in 2.4.5 (xim block all pages)

EDIT: Found a minor bug and updated again 1.02 in svn.

- Footerbar is showing content even when disabled in preferences. Changed to show no content

After completely re-installing, and adjusting group and block permissions/settings, it's working, however xim admin still gives a blank page..

On the bright side, the page format is fine, I just can't get to the footer settings to enable that feature.

Suggestion for everyone else:
Update the system and XIM module "after" setting group and block permissions.

I have to be missing something here....

*edit*
The inline debug info when trying to access the admin page returns this:
None All Errors (0) Deprecated (0) Queries (17) Blocks (0) Extra (5) Timers(5)

The more I know, the more I know that I really didn't wanna know.

Ok, I found how to get to the admin menu...

You have to access it via the menu that appears "after" setting general preferences...
Cant get there from the regular menu options.

That is going to be an issue with the jquery in the 2.4.5 admin menu..

Let me do some more testing with the footer..

*edit*

Works like a charm. Thanks for your help Culex!

Ok, another minor bug has appeared...

When viewing the "Who's Online" window, people logged in are shown as using xim regardless of where on the site they actually are....

The more I know, the more I know that I really didn't wanna know.

Yeah also I have noticed this. This is because the heartbeat run the block function constantly and therefore and overwrite the "who's online" data.

I'll look into how to bypass this somehow. Eighter an exclude function for the "who's online block" where XIM is being bypassed or maybe a query to delete XIM running from xim block....
