I am looking at setting up a RSS Directory site, pretty much like http://www.feedage.com or http://www.feedagg.com
instead of your usual directory of links, here users submit a link to their RSS feed, the feed gets validated and then the feed content is parsed and updated at given intervals of time or however one wants to set it

I am totally new to XOOPS and ended up here after a number of 'review' websites kept mentioning it as an ideal CMS for NEWS and Directory types of websites
