I just saw a free editor named elrte
Its a nice and professional looking editor

And to download go HERE

Is it possible to integrate this with Xoops ? it would be awesome

we look for several days to integrate it into Xoops and elfinder also
some members of the dev team, already have some integration

Is its BSD license compatible to XOOPS' GPL?

It did mention use with GPL licenses if you look on the site... Should be fine.

Hmm I thought I saw that it was OK to use with GPL licensed products but can't find it now..

Says on the site...

Plus there are mentions of it being worked on for Drupal and it is designed for use with another CMS which is in russian so I couldn't tell what it said.

Hi all
This would be great. We use this editor for a internal communication website and try a little with xoops too. It works perfect. When this editor come with the extension for file and image upload we xoops friends will become great options to create as an example simply but fantastic static websites.

Very nice and easy to control. This would be an awsome feature for xoops
