Hi all,

I am trying a clean install of Xoops 2.4.5 and it won't go past the first page of the install. I select English and hit next then - it returns the same page.

I found this post, and this one, and they had no solutions either. They were also fairly old. Some posts contained suggestions that it had to do with php versions, and that it didn't work with php5, which my hosting provider claims to have (although I am checking).

Any help would be appreciated.

OK, that is weird, it seems to work on IE and not Firefox.

Maybe you have some plugins on FireFox that blocks your XOOPS domain. (eg Cookie Manager, Virus scanner, requestpolicy, ...)
In a report was speedbit video downloader, which could block redirects.
