Can someone tell me how to make new news posts show up on the front page of the website? I've tried making blocks visible but nothing is showing up except name of the block e.g. 'Recent News'.

Any help would be great.

Did you select categories in the edit block?

I downloaded News 1.64 module but it seems problematic. Is there an office module I can use?

No, half of the XOOPS sites use the News module. Do you have PHP 5?

Sorry, I ment official. Ok I detail the problem.

I have installed the module and set permissions for Webmaster and added a topic with full permissions.

I am unable to post anything at the moment and I'm not sure if I've missed a setting. I am logged in as webmaster.

I have made the 'Recent News' block visible to the center of the top page.

Everytime I click 'Submit news' on the top page it comes up blank.

Any ideas?

If he can't post, he won't see any articles in whatever the block.

Do you have PHP 5?

I think you have another problem:
Quote:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function xoops_loadLanguage() in /home/xxx/public_html/class/errorhandler.php on line 22
What is your XOOPS, PHP, MYSQL version?
New, existing or updated site?
Did you do the file check (see release notes)?
