I would like to get a module where people can be awarded units by the Admin and then they can share these units with other users.

example.

John is given 100 20 units by the Admin. Then he can give Smith 5 units. Then John will be left with 15 and Smith will have 5 units. If the Admin names the units like "Dollas" then the module will work like paypal.

...and the other 80 'dollars' go to xoops? I'd support this idea!

No!!! The Admin bought the Units from Cafepress in wholesale.
Special offer "summer sale" 500 units for 5 Dollars. LOL

trabis has a module called userpoint, try it maybe it can be useful for you, you can download it from http://www.xuups.com
