I have spooken to someone about this and so far he'll go at it to make a better implimentation. Also I have noticed this moving around + the scroll bar is abcent when using drag 'n drop. But as I understand the javascript havent been fittet yet to make it work properly.

My plans are to spend as much time possible on this as I can. It has been laying still for a good long time now since both I and someone have been pretty busy with other projects and someone with university.

Thanks for testing, I have added the bug to the todo-list in the svn.

I have problem whit IM block ! it not show ! but footer bar work without problem ! test whit xoops 2.4.5

did you remember to make block visible ?


I have updated module in svn with new jquery for drag message window. Still doesnt remember position when browsing but now the scrollbar is not killed.

I'm still using Xoops 2.1.1 (xoopsCube), installed instant messenger but error message always pop-up that the script could not run but after trying several times by clicking on the person online on the IM block, it works but really really slow plus it doesn't seem to appear that I'm sending message to another user.

Is it because of my xoops version?

hi i've installed the module and it gives me lots of white pages due to protector, probably...any ideas?

If you suspect Protector, you can switch it off temporary in its preferences.

@tianne. It could also be your server, network, ...
If you have some spare place on your server install it in a subdirectory once with a later XOOPS version.

@Tianne We're working on a method to make xim work also in xoops versions < 2.4, but so fra it will not run properly if you have Xoops older than 2.4 since it uses preloads.

Hopefully very soon there will be an option to make the module work without. I'll post here when I hack it

@Kerkyra We have had questions about these white pages before. I wrote solution to this in the docs/install.html in the downloaded folder.

Probably this is due to protectore, or your browser has disabled cookie or javascript. Check these first.

If still blank page. Go to your protector module -> settings and write xim in the form "Modules out of Dos / Crawler checker".

This should do it
