please i want to know if there is any module i can install on my xoops for uploading video and images even the register they can upload videos and images

uploading images ? all images modules as extgallery and others has this features, just give upload permission to users .

regarding video upload : it's a problem, what is the extension and the size of the movie? did you try mytube ? I think it allows you to upload flv videos from your desktop

For Images you have many options (check the repository)

For video you have limited options ( check the repository)

I am using xcGal and VideoTube on my site (http://www.aquariumhomecare.com). make sure you get the latest version of the module.

Most people have limits on the amount they can upload which normally you can set with an iniset(), I will have to write an JQuery Ajax uploading form item for xoops for one of the next releases to make this accessible to everyone.

However I do have an application called VJ Mixes written for the late Gary Arthy that will allow you to categories a series of Videos embeddable code or any embedding and also upload a picture or still for it as well with comments etc for example a You Tube or My Space TV video embedding HTML Code.

There is another one like it that allows sales of downloadable items with associated video file from YouTube or other online source, with description price and paypal IPN Gateway. This is called VidShop this was also written for the Late Gary Arthy.
