Catads and Google maps?

I saw Catads version 1.50 advertised some time ago and found a couple of nice sites which I *thought* were using it:

Both these Catads modules have a Google maps feature, but when I downloaded Catads 1.52 this feature is missing?

Does anyone know if Google maps was ever a part of Catads 1.5n, or have both these sites undertaken some bespoke programming, or perhaps using a different module?.

i know catads after 1.4 had a version with a google map of france. not sure if they have it in later releases. maybe you've got to check the prefs to turn it on cos there was an option to disable it.

It was definitely Catads. Adslight looks nice - but no maps AFAIK.

Yes, the new version has a map of France too, but the examples I've seen use Google to pinpoint the advertiser.

Then I guess it's their own innovation. I think TDM is now in charge of catads (not sure though). You may want to contact them.

hi, the catads you talk about mr Peekay is a paid module developped by instant zero,it's called : catads pro.

Yes, AFAIK commercial modules developed by Instant Zero are no longer available.

I only need Catads for a particular project because it retains ads after they expire.

To be honest, if I was happy to let ads expire and be deleted from the database (useful if you have a lot of advertisers) then I would recommend Classifieds 2.n from JLM Zone. Very nice module, includes image gallery for advertisers with Lightbox feature.

Aside from a few template tweaks to make it fit my theme, everything worked in my tests, including uploads, thumbnail creation and email notifications.
