My site have a weird problem. I think its related to Xoops.

It can take up to 2 minutes to load. I have tried to cache blocks and uninstalled modules
one by one. But it did not help.

Sometimes it runs a bit faster. Slowest is the first visit. Once you have visited the site once, it's a bit quicker to browse around.

The site have been slow since i first installed it.

Url to my site is: www.classicgametunes.net

I have created a simple html page under the same domain and it runs normal.

I have also checked to see if other sites runs slow thats are hosted on same server with this tool:

http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/web-sites-on-web-server/

Anything else I can do?

Mosttimes:
- overloaded server, if neighbour site or other pages load slow. Check the load of the server in eg cPanel.
- too many blocks in too many places, if it is only XOOPS.
Check thenumber and timing of your queries in debug mode.
Some modules perform badly for selecting in many records (1000 and 10000+).

took about 3 secs to load the index. same time for any other page. same guess it's your network issue. i had the same thing way before.
