I have a client that needs to create online listings of their seed catalog. The would need to have the ability to create a page then add their seed category and seed listings below. I could just add some content module and have them insert table rows but was wondering if anyone knew of something more automated than just a manual entry and format solution.

If you want it automated, you should explain what is the 'raw' source (database, calc sheet, ...).

Some modules can do kind of listings. It depends on what and how to list. Examples are xRoster, Formulize, catads, xdirectory, shopping modules as Oledrion, ...
