https://xoops.org/modules/wfchannel/index.php?pagenum=20

You are seeing this page as you have no default page setup. Go into the module admin area and select a page that you would like to have as your default page.

Fixed. It was a permission issue.

The links are in the main menu at the side in the home page.

Maybe it should get a submenu in about XOOPS as Links. Maybe also the YAXS section could be there.

In XOOPS France they have a script to verify the links and set them invisible if they seem no longer XOOPS sites (based on generator meta and footer link). Maybe we have to run it here also once.

There is a new module repository in preparation.

I would like that there was some system in it so that you could use a link query to it as ?module=ModuleName and that would lead you always to the current version.
In the module data there is a link to the previous version and also a link to an upcoming release (alpha, beta, rc for test).
Eventually also a link to extended/patched module variations.
In the preferences you could set the current version of these versions.

I think the links to old modules (in the repository) should remain for those who are running older versions of XOOPS. It would be a good idea if they were moved to a sub-category or marked as "superseded version" perhaps. Don't delete them completely though, please!

We need for this a "Multi-Category" feature in the Repository, i.e. a module could be in a content category (e.g. Newsletter), and then in version category (e.g. "Dead Modules").

Unfortunately, no Repository Module offers that. If somebody wants to work on this, please let us know.

The original WF-Downloads 2 series

Why multi category? Why not just introduce a sub category for 'Archived'?

Sometimes you have a module that fits in more than one category. With a category alias, you can have the same module in two categories, without having to insert the module data record twice. WF-links has this option.
I think I will get a try to transpose this to the WF-downloads module.
