The new theme looks nice , but there is some funtion and other problems. For one the login only works on the main page
the login in uper right corner does not work.
The other big problem is the change in themes repository.
The old theme showed each catagory and color coded as to when they were added. This is something needed! I check daily for new modules, at the moment I have to go through each one to see if anything new was added.
I appriciate the hard work XOOPS developers have put into and keep adding to this site. I use XOOPS for most of my websites, it is the best CMS I have found and very usefull!
thanks Mike

Suggestion:
for speed up loading jquery from any location use
CDN google jquery - content distribution network (CDN)
like
<script src='http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js' type='text/javascript' >script>

( and jquery-ui in this way )

yep, the design is very cute. Thx a lot readmexico, well done !
now XOOPS is better promoted.

About the content, to improve the user experience (to make it happen not to have to scroll down on every page) and/or make it easy to find informations :
1/ the news are displayed for few days with their content on the front page. So now the main page is very long, as it was before with the old theme. Please set the front page as it was few days ago, to reduce scroll down the minimum, only titles are necessary IMHO. Perhaps a slide effect could be used to hide/display the news content (like on frxoops.org) on a click basis.
2/ the latest "Recent Posts" block is useless, the content is already in the "Xoops Support Forums" block. to save space, it can be deactivated.
3/ the right blocks : most of them are useless, please deactivate them to save space. Who's Online and User Menu are the only one usefull.
4/ forums : a cleanup in the number of forums could be done, it would ease the way to find informations and to know where to post.

yea i don't like it that the news are displayed at their full length. look sinds of bulky and it takes to long to scroll down to the recent forum posts. i think titles are enough for recent news

In the comments to news articles, the "Edit" and "Reply" links are very (and IMHO too) close to the text in the comment, which makes it look a bit cramped.

In Donations, the Donor list and the Donat-O-Meter don't show up in WoX.

This is normal, they don't either on default or Zetagenesis.

2. is the recent comment new position is a permanent thing ?

3. no style for pm/pmlite.php/
include/findusers.php etc

3. edit i just noticed the envelope with red button indicator for new pm when testing to send new pm.....but maybe a number of pm can be include next time

$uid $xoopsUser->getVar('uid');
$criteria = new CriteriaCompo(new Criteria('read_msg'0));
$criteria->add(new Criteria('to_userid'$uid));
$msgcount $pm_handler->getCount($criteria);
$GLOBALS['xoopsTpl']->assign('msgcount'$msgcount);
<{/
php}>

<{if
$msgcount 0}>
<
img border="0" src="<{$xoops_url}>/themes/jimx/myimages/message.gif" title="Private Message"> (<a href="<{$xoops_url}>/viewpmsg.php"><span style="color:#CC0000; font-weight: bold;"><u><{$msgcount}>u>span>a>) |
