Hi,

I just downloaded and installed UserPage.

When I click on it, either in admin, or on the actual site, I just get one completely white blank page.

It's at: modules/profile/userinfo.php?uid=1
(which is my own profile) but it's wierd that it's blank.

Is this one of those simple problems that everyone knows the answer to, other than us noobs? : )

thanks,

David

Please go back to the repository, and download the User Page 1.4 Release

I just updated the links there.

Thanks for the attention.

I downloaded the new version, removed my old version and reinstalled the new one I downloaded.

Sadly, I still get a blank page when I try to use it. I guess I'll keep looking for resources.

Thank you once again for your kind assistance. I appreciate it.

David

Other things to check:
- PHP version (I think 5 is recommended (maybe required?))
- The module contains a .htaccess, if your server doesn't allow URL rewriting, remove the file.

Thanks for the hint - I needed to use php5.

It's working now.

You rock!

I'm just reporting for someone to know how to solve the same issue:
The Xforum has the same issue too and canceling the search option at it's xoops_version.php solves it:

// Search
$modversion['hasSearch'] = 0;
