Thanks for the suggestion.

Since I can't see the login form, due to permissions what would be a good way to do it?

thanks again : )

Hi,

I'm back using XOOPS after a year or so, and I've made a noob mistake : )

I was making permissions changes, and I think I've made "anonymous" users unable to see "login"!

Can any of you gurus please let me know where in the database I can fix that?

Thanks : )

David

Thanks for the advice.

When I visit the download page, I see:

xoops2.4.5-to-2.5.0.zip
xoops-2.5.0.tgz
xoops-2.5.0-mini.tgz
xoops-2.5.0-mini.zip
xoops-2.5.0-mini.7z
xoops-2.5.0.zip

Since I have 2.4.4, which would I use - I guess that's my question.

thanks again!

Hi,

I'm excited to do the upgrade to 2.5.0.

However, when I follow the link to the downloads on SourceForge.net, It goes from 2.4.5 to 2.5.0.

Can I use that with 2.4.4? If not, where do I get "upgrade from 2.4.4 to 2.4.5"

thanks

David

Hello,

I am interested in a good way to block access to my XOOPS website, from certain countries.

I wonder if there's a module or other tip?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Solved!

I downloaded Xoops Protector from the modules directory, just to check it, and it had more files in the www/modules/protector directory than the one in the upgrade package has. Deleted both the root folder and the xoops_lib/modules/protector one.

Copied the new ones and it works!

Thanks for the help. : )

Hi again,

I removed the directory:
xoops_trust_path/xoops_lib/modules/protector

and

www/modules/protector directory.

Copied them back from the xoops2.3.3b-to-2.4.4 folder.

The protector module still has the "Module File for protector Not Found!" message.

Thanks again for all the help : )
