Sounds Great Ghia.

It should also have a calendar type system (similar to minical)where the customer just clicks on the date in and the date out, then is told if there is space available.

A lot of the big hotel and airline systems use it. either enter the date in and date out, or click on a calendar icon which gives a calendar popup.

Just my 2 cents

My new booking module is almost ready. It can be used for hotel booking, rent-a-car or other types of rental. It allows people to pay online for their reservation using a credit card (through paypal).
I've developed this with the small unit in mind (hotel, bead and breakfast, rent-a-car).
I'm planning on releasing it next month.
More details as I'm closer to completion.

a suggestion. Moneybookers works fine & more cheaper like Paypal.

I have mine about 70% complete.
I'm finishing some other work. I'll have to resume work on this.

sounds good about your mod. I am currently looking for a basic booking module, resmanager is the perfect mod but is has some display issues. It seems the developer has not work on it for long time now.
