I have been doing a lot of testing of permissions and logging in and out as different users (admin and 2 other accounts with different group access rights) trying to fix my other issue listed (CBB)... which is still plaguing me btw...

I am not sure if this constant logging in and out is recorded by the protector module and this is why it locked me out or if there is something else going on.

I am assuming I can go to another PC somewhere that has a different IP and log in fine I just don't have that option right at the moment. Is there a way to bypass this?

Great feature but man what a pain... Especially if I have to continue to log in and out quickly to test things.

Problem solved... Logged in on another PC and deleted the banned IP. Just curious if there is any way around this...

... although if there was I guess that would be pointless as the hackers could figure it out.

Now on to my CBB permissions/group problem which is still baffling me. I feel like I am talking to myself on that issue lol

There is a preference in Protector for not banning webmasters.

I've had some luck with the CBB permissions. Baffled me at first but I finally got lucky and figured it out. Not sure if same problem though, where is your original post on the CBB issue.
