Hi,

I am new to XOOPS and I am wondering if it's the right cms for my site.

I am creating an ebook directory where I need ebook publishers to submit an ebook including title description, gif etc. This would use a template. They would need to signup to do this.

eBook directory users would be able to comment and vote for ebooks.

Can this be done without extra programing?

orac53, Welcome to the XOOPS forum!

Yes, You can do that by installing a directory listing module like Classifieds or Catads. If you intend to sell also, have a look at Oledrion.
You can also try XOOPS and these modules out on your local PC with an internet server eg XAMPP.

let me suggest Weblinks by Ohwada or News by Instant-Zero too
