Uninstall CBB 4.0, make sure that all tables are gone, delete the /newbb subdirectory, install CBB 3.08 as a fresh install, and see if it works.

Sometimes there are file/tables left and the "downgrade" might not work.

Yes, I deleted all the tables and installed fresh but the same problem continues. I checked everything. I can't understand what the problem is now.

And you dont get any errors when you have debug mode on ?

What is your system overview showing in admin section ?

ok that warning shouldn't cause any big problems.

Really I am not sure what to look for next.

If all your groups have permission to see the forum, and the block is visible to all visitors, and no errors it should work.

Maybe it's a frameworks problem, what version do you use ?

frameworks is version 1.0, I'll check and see which version it should be for newbb 4.0

I have XOOPS 2.3.3.... couldn't install frameworks new version yesterday, but I'll try it today.

Ok, I couldn't try it yet, for days I've been trying to switch to another hosting co. It seems like it's gonna take more time. Anyway, I'll definitely try it tonight. But I have one more question; could this also cause some members not being able to view some topics/categories?

i.e; member starts a topic one day and some members answer it and the next day the member who started the topic can't see the topic, it say "you're not allowed to view this page" (xoops error)

no, this is a permission problem. You need to make these settings for each forum / category in your options.

In admin/newbb choose the "permissions" to see the settings for each category.
