Hi i think it would be nice in future versions of XOOPS to be able to administrate blocks to show in specific pages of a module! Right now we select the modules in which we would like the block to be visible in! So we havent got a flexible control on the contents of the site.

Additionally the who is online popup block should show the page title the users are in and not the module too!

Not sure how this can happen but right now i think the pages of a module are a bit stiff in regards of administration and handling within the core! Anybody agrees?:/

These are functions of the 2.2.x series that wait to be implemented, together with the permissions per block for user groups.

Yes this is a limitation in xoops. I also want to display some blocks in specific pages of a module. For example in Extgallery, it is not good to show last pics, most viewed pic etc.. under a long list of comments.

Indeed !!!
Those are the last 2.2.x features I still miss @ 2.3.3
Hope it will get to 2.3.4 ... then I will convert some of my 2.2.4 sites

The functionality might impose unknown, or unplanned influence over XOOPS page awareness or MVC implementation in future, thus we have been very careful with the feature and did not adopt it.

Anyway, the feature, or its equivalent will be available.

Sabahan, my hack does not cover this issue. This request is more complex has it involves database changes and core files(kernel) to be hacked.
