Where does content module store uploaded files?

Where does the content module store files that users upload?

I don't see that in preferences.

hi mate if you mean uploading files through the fckeditor, it must be configured in the editor config.

Thanks, however, I see nothing that resembles that in the admin menus.

So are you talking about
\modules\content\admin\fckeditor\editor\filemanager\upload\php\config.php

// Path to uploaded files relative to the document root.
$Config['UserFilesPath'] = '/UserFiles/' ;

I created the UserFiles folder under the website root and gave it 777 privs. still no go.

Should I try editing the path?

and after I do that, I have to go to the admin/system/modules/ and tell it to update the content module after I upload the revised config file?

Just one tought: Beware for the camelcaps: have correct upper- and lowercase letters in the name.

if you are using the last version of the module i have modified it to use the XOOPS fck editor and class. So you should alter the config file in the XOOPS fckeditor folder. There is no backend for selecting the default editor either in XOOPS or in the module, so this has to be done manually unfortunatelly! Finaly if indeed you are using the last version of the content module erase the \modules\content\admin\fckeditor\ folder! it is not needed there anymore. cheers.

PS: ghia what do you mean with the term 'camelcaps' mate ?

I set up the XOOPS installation a couple of months ago on a windows server and just moved it to a unix server. I'm aware that unix enforces case sensitivity.
the zip file is named
Xoops 2_3_1_module_Content.rar

Is that the latest?

you mean this file?
\htdocs\class\xoopseditor\fckeditor\fckeditor\fckconfig.js

Cool... found fck editor documentation

ok, so that is the latest version.

I'm betting it's a permissions issue. Does anyone know where a list of folders is that need their permissions changed?
