Legacy GUI Not working with Microsoft Explorer

Legacy Theme GUI Not working with Microsoft Explorer . i thought this will be fixed with the release of 2.3.3rc but i guess not ..

Not fixed in 2.3.3 Final either.

strange, i can't replicate this with IE7
what browser version?
in what admin part?

Seems to be introduced between 2.3.2 and 2.3.3rc in modules/system/class/gui/legacy/cp_functions.php. If that is so, checking the differences could reveal it.

strange, i've no problem,before and after the "DataBase updated successfully" message.
when does this occur for you exactly?

1. Go to Admin>Preferences>General Settings
2. Select "legacy" from the drop-down list
3. Click "Go"
4. "Database Updated Successfully" displays

"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" displays when trying to loadhttp://www.mysite.com/admin.php, i.e. access to admin is denied. The only way back in is to edite the databases config table.

sorry, i did several times what you did, i've no issues at all with IE7
what version of IE did you run?
what theme do you use? here i'm running the default one

You mean which admin theme? I use ThAdmin.

The other admin themes (default and exm) work fine.

Just is case you were refering to my site's user-side theme, it one that I've put together myself. It uses BlueHue as it's base but overall style taken from the Black2 XOOPS Cube theme fromhttp://2bcool.net/. Seehttp://www.llanmon.org.uk/

hi,

i tested with the same version of IE7
I guess the issue deals with the theme you use.
