Email "From" Corrupt

Email generated from the system is showing the From line as follows:

From: =?charset=iso-8859-1?B?V0FITSBBZGRpY3Rz?= [mailto:<admin email here>]

I can probably fix this if I could figure which file(s) to alter? Any guidance appreciated, thank you!

Could it be that the from address was configured with an included mailto:? It should be someone at host dot com and not mailto: someone at host dot com.
