We just updated to 2.3.3, but I don't know if this has anything to do with it.

But if the speed increase is consistent, sure, we'll take credit for it

I detect also that XOOPS.org is more snappy and serving pages more quickly.

But the 'thank you for your submission' page losts its style and displays left aligned with a black background.
