Parse error with new theme

Hello all,

I have just changed themes on a live site, and it appeared to be working fine, except one module, mx directory is showing returning the following error.


Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';' in D:\Hosting\3181099\html\adsense\endoforums\xoops_data\caches\smarty_compile\first+clone-xpro_057_prisma^%%4B^4B3^4B3E9984%%db%3Axdir_index.html.php on line 3

does someone know an explanation and fix for this, im hoping it is nothing major.

the site is http://www.endoforums.com and it is live.

I suspect you're seeing some previously discovered issues - why it's showing up only with a new theme is interesting. See this thread for instructions on a potential fix. Make sure you clear your cache and templates_c directories after making the changes.

Thank you zyspec, however it has not worked.

if you go to http://www.endoforums.com/endometriosis you will see the theme changer, select the old theme, and it works, go back to the new theme and it doesnt.

I really would appreciate any help you can offer.
I have performed all the modifications on the thread you referred me to, and updated the moduele, there were no files in templates_c to clear out.

Sorry. If you're using XOOPS 2.3 you'll need to clear ./xoops_data/caches/smarty_cache and ./xoops_data/caches/smarty_compile directories. You could also temporarily enable "Check templates for modifications" in Admin > System > Preferences Main > General Settings

By the way the link to http://www.endoforums.com/endometriosis fails...

yes this fixed teh problem, sorry for late reply, cleared those folders and it went back to normal - phew.

sorry i missed the /modules/ from the url above.
