yogurt can't upload audio

hey got this error when uploading audio an mp3 to yogurt

It means the upload failed with unknown reason.

Check if the permissions for the receiving directory are set right. Try with a smaller file to see if the server impose some size limits. Can you upload other file types? Check the preferences of yogurt to see if the size and or mime type is allowed (but I assume you would have a proper warning in that case).

If the directory is configured correctly, then go into the preferences and change the picture max upload size. I have mine set to 6 megs, don't forget it bytes so 6 megs would be 6291456 or abouts.

he didnt say yogurt can't upload PICTURES

Is this really SOLVED? because i have this problem on latest Yogurt

Yes it is, the pictures and the audio run off the same size requirements. Follow my directions and you should be able to upload audio. I had the same problem and it fixed it like a charm.

lucky for me i still have my old download of this version 3 of yogurt

what i would REALLY like to see is a way to NOT upload them but a way to FETCH the url from an online location
while still making it show on the persons profile
Much like the Youtube module ( XoopsTube )

You're welcome. Let me know if that resolves it. Make sure you if you set it to six megs (6291456), the file you upload is six megs or less. I'm going look at hacking it to give me a different error message if the file size is to big. Right now that error message is no help at all and took me 40 minutes to figure out what the heck it was talking about.
