Hello!
I wonder if anyone can help, I'm having trouble with the main logo on my site, the one that displays next to the banner in the header of the site.
When it is just a regular gif, everything is ok but when I try to put up an animated gif /that consist of 2 gifs appearing to replace eachother/, I get nothing. That is to say, it is not displayed.
I have not found anything that says that animated gifs are not supported ba xoops, if that is the case, please include it in the FAQ. (I use 2.0.16. version of Xoops). If anyone has any idea what to try to make this work, please LMK.
TIA!

There is no restraint for animated gif's (See here at your right 'Developers for hire.'). If it is not working, it is because the link is not correct or the templates got not updated (Check also the resulting page html source).

I have a site with 2.0.18 that uses .gif animated in logo. (8 frames gif) you can see inhttp://www.decorcuenca.es.
Don't remember problems when I made the site.
Check your .gif or your link. It should work.

Thanx for the answers, they helped me in a way :) I rechecked everything and found that I have not linked the gif properly. Of course, after I corrected that error, everything was ok :)
Sorry for wasting your time.
