AMS from News 1.2

Hallo all

I have installed AMS 2.51 but:

1) i don't understand how i can import old news made with news 1.2

2) every time i try to submit new articles the system send me this error system " No Topics Exist - please create a topic and set appropriate permissions before submitting an article" but i have created the topics...

Did you set Audience permissions in AMS preferences, under the Audience Levels tab?

With News there is a file /admin/amsimport.php, but I don't know if AMS provides something similar. Anyway you can study the actions done in that file and try to reverse them for having the opposite effect.

What is the Backend.php file for? It's found in the first zipped subdirectory, but not in the module directory
