Hi all,

Some time ago I setup an intranet site using Xoops. With my current hosting provider going bankrupt, I am in the process of moving the site to a new hosting provider. Problem however is that I don't get the site up-and-running again.

I've managed to export the database tables and import them (including all the data) at the new provider. I have uploaded all the files and edited the mainfile.php to include the information of my new hosting provider. Still it does not work. I don't even get an error, just a : "this domain name has been registered but nothing is on it yet" or something like that.
Any idea's what else needs to be done before I can see the site up again? As it's an intranet site, there is luckily not so much traffic going on this time of the year but still....

Thanks for the help!

Delete the index.html file.
The server will load the index.html file earlier, and ignore the index.php file.

Kevin.
I used to use this account, but no longer.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I'm one step further now by (renaming the index.html (always cautious with deleting files) and get a 403 error (not having the rights to access).
As the domain transfer is still being dealt with, is it possible this generates the error?

The changed behaviour of the site after renaming index.html suggests that you don't have problems with the new domain location. The 403 error may be provoked by the attempt to list the directory due to the missing index.html file. This listing is mosttimes forbidden on secured systems.

Is the index.php from XOOPS residing in that same directory?

Deleting the index.html is the safest. Which host do you use, Strato?

I have tryed that, too
My problem was the .htaccess file.
If You have one, try renaming that and see what happens.

Thanks all for the help. Unfortunately, no success so far.
The 403 error is gone, just forgot to go to the correct subdomain (stupid... that's what you get when working on something too long).
I'm just getting a blank page now when going to the site.

The site was supposed to move to Strato but due to their lack of co-operation I decided on Antagonist. I like their setup, just need to get things working now

I'm now on Strato, and I've moved my first site before the deal between Lycos and Strato was there, and I'm happy about them... Much better then Lycos.. But you also have to find new things out.

If you need any help, just give me a PM :)
