Thanks for the suggestion!

Did look of course but could not determine which one to use

Edited to add: Did look for your suggestion but am unable to find xf-planet in the module repository or on the Xoops.org site. Only reference to xf-planet is this forum thread.

Any other suggestions?

Hi all,

Is there a way/module that lets you import a RSS feed from another site into your site? If so, how/which/what exactly.

I've been searching some time now but can't find what I'm looking for just yet.

Thanks for the help,
Marieke

Thanks for putting me in the right direction. It turns out that the Dutch translation I use omitted the last 3 lines of the code. I have added those to the translated file and I now have access to all blocks from all modules again.

Do have the pulldown menu. Doesn't matter which I select (startpage, forum, calendar, news, etc.) it will only show me the system module blocks, no other.
The site is translated in Dutch and I just realize I have a pulldown menu for "blocks visible in", "Group" and "Visible" but nothing called "Generated by". There is a line saying _AM_GENERATOR and I assume that might be the "Generated by" you are refering too? How to get that one back to normal?

Ok, so that can't be the problem then. Anyone an idea what the problem might be and more important: how to solve it?

Recently I upgraded to XOOPS 2.3 and ever since, I can only get the system module blocks to show up in the block admin. Doesn't matter what page I select for the blocks to show or what user group or visible or invisible blocks, I only see the system blocks and no blocks from other modules. Any idea what I need to do to make the other blocks show up again? I've looked through so many files already but can;t seem to find the error (only thing found that is different from some documentation I found is that the directory is called XOOPSROOT/modules/system/admin/blocksadmin/ instead of XOOPSROOT/modules/system/admin/blockadmin).

Just to let you know: my site is working again. It turned out that the register_globals was not put correctly in the .htaccess file but instead of generating an error, it gave only a blank page.

Oh, and the upgrade went fine as well. The admin area looks a bit different but everything else seems to be working just as its supposed to work

Thanks again. Thought I already had something similar done but apparently not so I'll give this a try.

Hi,

Where can I check which XOOPS version my site is currently using if I'm not able to access the site? (Site only gives blanc pages after moving to a new hosting provider, mainfile has been adapted to reflect the changes).
Thought I might try to upgrade XOOPS to the latest stable release to see if I can access the site again but first need to know what version I'm currently using.

Thanks for the help,
Marieke
