Hi Guys,
maybe im doing this wrong, but I cant get the email to work, my server (godaddy) requires specific ports for outbound mail, but XOOPS does not seem to have these fields in the mail settings.
my outbound mail isnt working on a couple of sites, and im assuming this is why. is there a way of editing the outbound port settings in xoops.?
thanks
steve.

Port 80?
This is used for http and webmail in a browser, but it does not support smtp. Alternate port for smtp is usual 465.

OK ill give that a go, thanks for your help.

I actually just got it working, Hooray!
trying all types of combinations, it seems to work with SMTPAuth selected and server:80 in the host field.

ill try your suggestion too, thanks for your time.
