Is it possible to move from RunCMS 1.3 to Xoops??

Can't answer your question directly but I suggest you do a little research using the 'search' function - it appears you have a big gap between the two and no real way of doing it. you can start your research here

BTW I searched on runcms and e-xoops

I know more about it now...good luck!

Hi, i am a user of runcms and going change to xoops.

This is my first experience in xoops.

I made my first script to convert users, and forum ( topics + posts) to newbbex because datebase are almost equal. I think all is working but need more tests.
Next step is convert to newBB 2 i think is most recent.

I will make more test tomorrow and if anyone want to try convert runcms to XOOPS i can put here.

As far as I know there is no standard posrting script for the 2 cms's. There is a XOOPS to runcms I believe.

Anywho, I guess basically you are looking at manual porting if you still want to do it. Basically this means fun in sql.

what about Convert user table as a start?

I have a site with runcms & want to Convert to xpoos so i think my first step to Convert users table

any one whant to help??

Yes, it can be done with the proper SQL statements in PHPMyAdmin. You need a local server, like XAMPP, with XOOPS installed to it and a backup of your forum, to test this out.
There is not a ready made script, but this French example shows how to do the conversion from CBB forum to NewBBex. It can be used as a starting point.
