Hi,

I gess all who is runing XOOPS site for some time had the same problem. You may try GiJoes "Fastest Cache Hack": http://xoops.peak.ne.jp/md/mydownloads/singlefile.php?lid=67&cid=2

I'm not shure if it works with 2.3.x, so try it localy and make backups before applying!

P.S. Most of the time, admins complain on xoops.org about new XOOPS releases with more options added to the core. But this makes XOOPS heavy on the server...

I don't want to off this option, as previous and next article is a main feature on my site. However I have 4 clones of smart section installed. I am trying different sort of options, specially this one as proposed by"ghia"

Yeah, cloning (heavy) modules: a proven way to memory usage and overload.
Do you need all these clones?
What is your module total?

Yes, I need all the 4. Total 7 modules in use, 4 of them are smart section.

If I knew what you were talking about I'd answer

I'm on a shared server/account with these folks:
http://www.supanames.co.uk/

I have "Linux Mid" account:
http://www.supanames.co.uk/hosting/linux/mid

Upgraded from the basic package about 18 months ago and not had a problem or outage since.
