I created a group for moderators and banned. I would like to give access to moderators to ban a user but I don't want them to be able to change the admin's group options, meaning I'm afraid that they might ban me or the other admins... How can I do that?

I think you need a hack to disable the 'edit profile' function in userinfo.php when the user is from the moderator group and tries to open the profile of some one from the webmasters (and eventually moderator)group.
