Hello All,

For viewing a large pdf or image, maybe even table, it would be great to have a scoll controlled zoom function to go in an out of areas of the document. I cant seem to find anything with this capability available at present.

is this easy to create? maybe the programming from google maps can be used but with a document as the base?

You may try some JavaScript, like this.

Thanks for your input, however that wasnt exactly what i was after.

you know in google maps when you wheel up to zoom in and wheel out to zoom out, left click to move etc, controls like that.

any ideas ... ?

Catch these mouse events and couple their handlers to the ones from the buttons in the example.

This is a good idea. But I think it has to be implemented by module developers where necessary and possible, for example for document and images.

Thats kind of what i was hoping for, as im not a programmer and pretty new to all this.

for example they could modify a content display module to allow large tables or images to be displayed with this zoom function.
