Hi there

My server host tells me that as my server is IIS it cannot use rewrite and htaccess files.

Firstly, is that correct and secondly if so how can I rewrite my URL's to make them more search engine friendly?

The host tells me it should be possible to achieve the same results as htacess rewrite by using ordinary programming but they can't tell me how.

Can anyone help me change this:

to like this

Without using htaccess?

Thank you very much!

The best solution is probably this one: find a good host.

you can use an isapi for this..

we've used this isapi for 5 months on Windows 2008 Server & IIS 7 and we are very happy with this..
