the yogurt support page is since days offline and the development activity on sourceforge is very small ...

great module! but at the future go it forward with the module? any ideas?

Turns out the yogurt module is conflicting with the wordpress 2.0.* module. If I disable the wordpress module the the search works fine I don't know what's the reason in particular. So just for reference purposes if u have yogurt (any version) and wordpress 2.0.* both installed you cannot search members on yogurt as a logged in user only guests can search. Maybe someone can help figure out where is the conflict between the two modules.

I hacked yogurt to search the membership module's member list and disabled yogurt's internal search to overcome this problem on one of my sites. It can be done simply by modifying the yogurt template files to include a member search box on every page that uses the membership module's search function, and then by removing the "search member" links from all yogurt pages and the main menu.

As always too much work and very few time, i am sorry not to be able to put the site online soon and even more to not have time to take the project foward for now, but i will come back after my vacations in july i hope.

i have now more than 100 friends on my (Webmaster) Profil at my site:

if i want to send a invitation (PM or Mail) to all my friends for example for a party or meeting, i CANT do it. I want to say that:

- sorry my english is very bad

We need in the future one function with following properties:

- the user (owner) can play a list from all friends (Foto or list function)
- in this list is a button with SEND MAIL function or SEND PM (to all friends)

when i have 5 friends is no problem to send a PM or Mail manually but by 100 friends is not posible

what do you think about this future?

it probably WONT work because of the rules your WEBHOST COMPANY has.
You need to make sure with them, that you can send more then 100 SMTP mail at once.
Right now if you go into the ADMIN section
click on MAIL USERS
and try to send an email to EVERYONE,
only the first 100 people wil get the mail because BULK MAILING is commonly turned OFF on all webhost companies.

see that i can understand. Possably for yet another vresion of Yogurt however it seems it would involve editing the CORE files as well.
To accomplish this, i would imagine that a GROUPS would need to be setup from the USER.
Then they can easily send a PM to that GROUP.
