I can't allocate a moderator to a forum?. The window pops-up when I select 'list' or 'search' but clicking a user name doesn't add them to the moderator list. No debug messages.

I have 'enable user moderation' = 'yes' in prefs. All users have correct permissions. Same in FF and IE.

Xoops 2.0.14
PHP 4.3.7
MySQL 3.23.58
register_globals off
safe_mode on
Win IIS 5.0

Click on the user, then click on the 'Ad button', then the user is inserted as mod of the forum

Thx svaha, tried that. Doesn't work for me. I'm wondering if it's a register_globals issue (globals are 'off' on my test machine and on my web server).

Unless you have globals off too - in which case it's probably the heat in my studio (baking hot here in the UK today!).

Just checked to be sure, I have Globals off, I choose to edit a forum, click on list, then on a user, then on ad, then I close the window and the added user (moderator) is displayed.

So it's probably the heat, I live just abroad in the south of Holland, here it's now 32.1 degrees in the shade, haha that's quite warm, so take care there in the uk.

I installed the older version of CBB (3.02) and tried again. The problem still happened, but only using Firefox (rev 1.7.5).

It works perfectly in Internet Explorer. I'll try Firefox on the Mac later today to see if it is common.

Thx for helping.

Re: CBB 3.04 Moderator problem

yea all this info doesnt help me at all
i am looking at the EDIT FORM page for a specific forum i created
and i see a list of moderators ( myself only )
but there is no way of adding anyone to the list

i cant click LIST
i cant click USERS
because neither of these things exist

how can i add a person to the moderators section?
i must have done it before because there are TWO mods for one of the forums and i have no idea how i did that
