Allowing multiple e-mail addresses per member

I would like to know if there is a way to allow users to have more than one e-mail address.

I have users who would like to receive notifications at both home and work e-mail.

Any suggestions?

I am using 2.2.4.

Try to create a new field on user profile (email office)
and add it to your templates!

However, when any user send an email to that user, this email can not send to the "email office", can't it??

From actual user interface users can choose from
pm or email. By extending it you may send to both user
emails, personal and professional (simple one way)
or make it a selection. Graphically it could look-like:
[pm] e-mail [private|professional] (home, office...)
It's more an issue about human behavior than 'nature of the thing'

That's a good suggestion. My question now becomes, where would I perform those edits and what would they actually look like.

Unfortunately I don't have the skills to put that plan into action.

I can follow directions quite well. This would seem to be something that a lot of users would benefit from.

I don't know a single person who only has one e-mail address any more.

So any further ideas or instructions would be great to get.

This has reared its head for me again with requests from some users to have notifications sent to more than one e-mail address. One person wants them sent to 4 actually.

A start for me would be to know what files to modify, and then I might be able to muddle through it.

In the alternative, if anyone wants to pm me with a price to make this happen, that is good too. Assuming of course that it isn't a feature of the latest release.

Currently using version 2.3.3.
