It will be working once you make a post.

This could be considered as a bug, is fixed in 4.0

Actually, if you have subforums it doesn't work even after you make a post. On top of that, CBB 4.0 doesn't work at all with XOOPS 2.0.18.1. At least not on my servers.

I have never had anything but problems with CBB since it became "cbb."

You would think a reliable, simple forum would be an easy module to develop. I still use xhnewbb on some of my sites. It works on every version of Xoops. In order to get feeds you have to install a separate module like "What's New" or something, but that's no big deal.

However, on the sites I use CBB the feeds are messed up and I have found no solution. It's been 3 years or more of CBB sucking, so I'm used to it.

I confess I like CBB 1.16a. Works well and is more user-friendly and admin-friendly than the CBB 3.0 series (IMHO).

I confess I haven't tried it on XOOPS 2.0.18. I assume this forum is powered by CBB 4.0?.

My wish-list... put the 'quote' button back where people expect it to be and dump the 'transfer' screen completely (little buttons would do perfectly well).

The 'View New Posts' feature was a BIG improvement over newBB but it would be great to have them appear as topics rather than posts (like in PHPBB).
A thread is for life. Not just for Christmas.

RSS works for me, although I have to admit that I've no experience of sub-forums with it.
