Need ECommerce type suggestion

I am rebuilding this website for a buddy of mine, with XOOPS obviously.

It would be my first site period with ecommerce type stuff. It looks like right now the previous designer just used a paypal link, script or something to accomplish this.

I need a suggestion for how to approach this. Something that he can update relatively easily on his own. Changing prices, products, photos, etc.

I tend to use 2.2.x and not 2.0.x if that matters.


Any suggestions?

you can use integration with Zen Cart from here:

There is a japanese version, called "zen cart on xoops". Right now it is only japanese, but the author of the module promised to make an english version if someone is interested. Leave a comment HERE!

Did I do something wrong? Or doesn't 3.1.3 ZenCart work with 2.2.x? I just get a blank screen.

You have multiple options...

Debug the zencart stuff and the blank page... which is fun, but might be time consuming.
Also, hopefully, you have a development server you can try stuff on (like turning debug modus on)

The other option is to use XosC .73 Beta
(which was announced on the frontpage)
