Install Modules

Help...

I have just installed XOOPS and downloaded xoops_IntranetPack_1.0.tar Module pack. what do I do now, I can not find any reference within the forums on how to install the modules.

I am trying to replicate a "postnuke" site and in post muke you just uncompress the modules and copy them into the modules directory. I have tried this in XOOPS but does not work.

The "Modules Administration" only lists "System".

Download the XOOPS operations guide, check out the section on installing modules.

Basically, you need to drop each module in the /modules directory, then go to system => modules and press the install module button.

Make sure you check the readme for each module, as some have special requirements in set up.
