I would like to have a simple link to send PM to a user below the user details

When you click on the green Button oer the Avatar there is a link to send PM, why you dont use this?

if im not mistaken the forum in xoops.org is using an old version of newbb/cbb....i read from xoopsforge the userbar option has been disable since cbb version 2. something...

im using the latest one 3.08..actually the option to use the userbar is in cbb admin but will not work if you enable it..(correct me if i'm wrong) i don't know what's the point of it to be display in the admin but we can't use it ?

hope to see it back in v4.0

Are you sure? I had 3.04 and I thought I had seen it there, since I upgraded to 3.08 I can't see the user bar either.

Good morning everyone,

I was looking as well for the userbar functionality for CBB v3.08 and, of course, it's not there anymore..

However - I came across a hack done last year I believe by [KICKASSAMD?] which is no longer on his site so - I took it and host it on mine.

It's made for v3.04 however we are using it on v3.08 without any issues.

[back first - as always!] - I have also modified the icon_profile.gif and included the .png in case someone feels more artsy *smile*.

Also - if you want to adjust the elements to be shown - edit class/user.php and comment out the lines after [KICKASSAMD] comment..
