I did build a link about a year ago, but it only jumped you to the phpgedview. It did not integrate the databases together If you logged into xoops, you still needed to log into phpgedview. It was a simple set of commands to launch you into phpgedview, it this what you are looking for??? or are you trying to have a single login database for both XOOPS and phpgedview?

Yes, One login for both programs. It does not need to share the same data base and probably should not.

What is needed is a bridge file to share the registration and login information.

I am just not talented enough to make it work.

The current problem is the one I have does not share the login databases. It was only a link to send you to phpgedview. If I find it I will post it, if I can. I am also working on my next version and hoping I can link both login databases. Is there a place I can put the xoops_version.php? That is the only thing I was able to build and make it work.

Not much information to go on

There are 2 components with this module - phpGedView and pgvxoops - because of the size of the original script and the limitations of dev.xoops.org, I chose to keep them separate. The upcoming version will be a single package.

Basic steps -
1. Download phGedView 3.3.8
2. Download pgvxoops
3. Extract both files to your computer into separate folders
4. Read the readme files - readme.txt and readme_xoops.txt
5. Within the phpgedview folders, there is a phpgedview-3.3.8 folder that contains all the files and folders you will need. Upload everything in this folder to your server, placing them modules/pgv/
6. Within the pgvxoops folder, there is a pgv/ folder, upload it to you modules/ directory on your server, overwriting the files when prompted
7. Install the module
8. Follow the instructions in readme_xoops.txt. More information about phpgedview is contained in readme.txt
