Xoops 2.2.4 newbb forum HTML problem

I have set HTML as "disable" at preferences but i can use HTML at Forum!!

What is the problem?

I guess it depends on what type of HTML tags you are using?

Also what is the version # of the newbb you are using?

In CBB3.0x you have to enable/disable HTML on an individual forum basis.

Go into the Forums admin, select a forum and click on the edit button. You will see the on/off radio button there.

Sorry, but you will need to go through this for all forums.

I put a simple url, for examplehttps://xoops.org
The version of my forum (newbb) module is 3.01, Last Update 2007/7/13

Well well well..

If u disable HTML it works but..you still can put urls.

My main interest is to prohibit people putting working links in my forum topics.

Is there a way to disable links in my forums? not manually but automatically.

When a user put a url to transform into txt for example.
