Upload problem

After I have upload my attachments with cbb, it does not display the filname on the message. the message just display without any attachments. How Can i solve this?

dont you have any error after send upload?
like "Failed opening directory" or "write permission"?

I too am having this same problem...


no error messages .. just says thanks for your submission and then the file attachments do NOT show up in the post... feel free to try your self, pm me or e-mail me for access to my site to see exactly what is going on for your self....

describe it wisely and clearly:
what mimetype? what cbb version? what size?
more information you send soon it will be solved.

I have the same problem too, after Attaching the file on the forum newbb nothing is shown in the forum and i have set all the permissions and sizes well from the admin area, after uploading the Attach a success message is displayed but in real sense nothing is working out, Any help?

I also have the same problem. I also upped the max size (to 8000K) and added a file type "avi". Seems as if these two values are even looked at. Users cant upload files larger than 1-2 M.

I tried PHP Debug and MySql debug. NO ERRORS shown.

Any ideas anyone???

I'm using cbb 3.04

I checked the file newbb/error_log and discovered this:

It seems it doesnt matter what you change CBB values to, the error_log file always contains the message about exceeding 2097152 bytes.

Might that be related to your php.ini settings? Just a guess.

BroHam,

Excellent guess! I took the value from the error log () and divided it by 1024 and came up with 2M. Then I checked my phpinfo() and found that my service provider has the max_upload_size set to 2M!

Now wrangling with them to get it changed.
