Hi,

I've recently upped a XOOPS-site for my company, but is missing a simple phone/e-mail-list that the staff can use to find company numbers. Tried a few of the existing directory-modules, but none were really suited for this purpose. Prefarably it should be a database column sheet with name, phone, mobile and e-mail so that it is easily accesible.

I'm not handy enough yet to put one together so I was wondering if anyone had an existing module in mind or was working on one?

Which modules did you try and in what format (differs per country) should the address be?

Preferably it should just be one text-field for the adress, otherwise it should be "Swedish format" :) street, five digit post-code and city. The most important feature is not the adress, but the phone and e-mail-listings. Preferably viewed from the first screen. ie:

Name phone mobile e-mail
Klas Nilsson 018-248372 070-839734 me@work.com

You can try

1. formulize+pageworks - input form and display output (recommended)

http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/?formulize

2. xdirectory (x recommended - last update 2004)

https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=108&lid=1370
example: http://www.folsomliving.com/modules/xdirectory/

Good Luck

I use xyp4all - works great for an intranet faculty listing. You can find it here. I've 'tweaked' it a little bit (the search doesn't work quite right) but it's simple, allows you to assign rolls (like Dept Heads), and works great with XOOPS 2.0.x series - haven't tried it w/ 2.2...

Thanx for the tips. I've tried XYP4All and it seems quite good, but I'm gonna experiment a bit with formulize as well. If nothing else I could probably use it on something else.
