while most of us are waiting for the "final news", have a break, do what the web is best for -> search for interesting stuff, learn and have fun.

I just found an interesting summary of css stuff which might be interesting for some of you!

css techniques you couldnt live without

look at the examples given there, play, have fun and learn ... and always think about how to use this within XOOPS theming.

Smashing magazine is really a great site thanks for the link. I had forgot about this site. I always end up on sitepoint trying to solve issues.

Thank you StudioC for sharing this.

I'm not much into vectors, but this site is one of my favorites:

HI,
I have been doing just that...

You are welcome to come and play with my Wiki...
Really, it is not as bad as it sounds!

What we learn from there we can use later over here.
I learned how to do a template, and now I would LOVE to get the languages part in working order.

Maybe you can lend a 'brain cell or two' my way, I am a few short.

Oh, yes... it's experimental... don't be afraid of breaking anything I have a backup copy and what is there is ready to just be used and abused until your hearts content. It's OPEN SOURCE, OF COURSE!!

BTW: there is not an XOOPS instance running in that directory -- it wasn't required.

Excellent Bluestocking, what plans do you have for this wiki? Could it maybe be xoopswiki.org's playground? I would like someone to make progress in template building... maybe starting with making something like it was done in WIKI 2006 in the module registry templates, and have a good start into module documentation.

Please make a follow up on this at xoopswiki.org, so the wiki team can be united, and if you're interested about module registry templates I can tell you as much as I know about this to and give you the initial structure to convert to mediawiki.

Also I've investigated a little about the multilanguage process in mediawiki, I could tell you about that there too, it's not much but I can show you the investigating process I went through-

(Sadly the server isn't in it's greatest with frequent down times, but an upgrade to it's hosting will be done in the following days)

Anyways, thanks, and this thread is great so we can complement each other in the basics to later get on to the serious stuff.
